the National Wind Technology Center is an excellent resource
with numerous studies on wind power topics, including: capacity credits
for utility-scale wind, small wind system issues, avian mortality,
and grid impacts.
- The American Wind Energy Association.
AWEA provides information on the United States and global wind industry,
including installed and proposed capacity, current issues and industry
news, and other links. AWEA also has directories
of developers, operators, and independent power producers as well as
wind power consultants and equipment manufacturers and dealers.
- National Wind Coordinating Committee.
The NWCC is a "consensus-based collaborative" of varied wind
industry stakeholders which endeavors to support the development of
wind markets through education, focused research, and events.
- The Union of Concerned Scientists.
This nonprofit research organization advocates the development of sustainable
practices through published analysis and research of the economic and
environmental benefits of renewable energies.
- Utility Wind Interest Group. This
group's work includes producing reports and briefs on wind-related issues
by the Utility Wind Interest Group.

The website of the Danish Wind Industry Association provides a Guided
Tour - a comprehensive reference on the resource, economic and engineering
issues and how they affect one another.
