Tradable Renewable Certificates Bulletin Board

The Public Renewables Partnership is working with Evolution Markets to highlight consumer owned utilities who have certified Tradable Renewable Certificates for wholesale. If you are a consumer owned utility desiring to sell or buy certified Tradable Renewable Certificates, particularly from other consumer owned utilities, we strongly encourage you to contact Evolution Markets. Evolution Market's Renewables Bulletin Board lists bids and offers for renewables in the nationwide wholesale market, and it's the only page of its kind!

The Renewables Bulletin Board was developed to improve price transparency and liquidity in the nationwide market for wholesale tradable renewable certificates. Although the primary target of the bulletin board is the voluntary market, bids and offers can also be posted for certificates eligible under state-level compliance programs for states such as Texas, Massachusetts, and New Jersey that have instituted renewable portfolio standards.

In addition, some of the TRCs listed on the TRC Bulletin Board may be eligible for inclusion in Green-e(r) certified TRC products and/or Green-e(r) certified electricity products. Evolution Markets recently became the first approved broker of Green-e(r) certified TRC products. To view the TRC Bulletin Board, you'll need to create an "EvoID" account with a username and password--it only takes a minute.

Once you're logged in, go to Evolution Express and click on "Voluntary RECs".
